Varmio installs heat pumps throughout German-speaking Switzerland – for single-family homes and older buildings. Expert, local, and with complete subsidy handling.
This is what an installation looks like while it is taking shape: clearly arranged hydraulics, tidy pipework and a heat pump that suits the house. You will find more pictures from our projects in the gallery.

We only do what we do really well: heat pumps for single-family homes in German-speaking Switzerland – regardless of building age
Whatever the age of your house – we know the challenges such as radiators, insulation and space constraints, and find the right solution.
Personal, not a large corporation. We are based in Basel-Landschaft and look after you directly.
Planning, installation, hydraulic balancing, handover and subsidy applications — one point of contact, no interface problems.
Cantonal funding programmes: we know all the schemes and submit the applications — at no extra charge.
Many homeowners think a heat pump only works in new buildings. Not true. Your older home with radiators is often perfectly suited.
When you replace an oil or gas heating system with a heat pump, funding programmes are available to you. We handle the entire process.
Base contribution plus output-dependent contribution when replacing an oil, gas or electric heating system. Outside the district heating area.
Within the district heating area (F01–F03/V41) halved: CHF 4,000 + CHF 125/kWth up to 70 kWth, no funding above that. Max. 40% of investment costs.
Base contribution plus output-dependent contribution when replacing an oil, gas or electric heating system (Baselbieter Energiepaket).
Calculation: CHF 5,000 base contribution + CHF 200/kWth × 16 kWth. Funding max. 50% of the specific investment costs. From 2026 also 40% of this amount for like-for-like replacement of an existing heat pump.
